The Department of Computer Science is responsible for teaching and research in computer science at the University of Helsinki. Research in the Computer Science focuses on bioinformatics, data analysis, data science, discrete and machine learning algorithms, as well as distributed, intelligent and interactive systems. The research also covers software and database systems, big data, artificial intelligence, information networks and data security. This collection contains publications from Series of Publications B and Series of Publications C as well as Technical reports.
